The brand is built around the artist’s own name as a way to keep the work personal and authentic. The artwork often explores subtle flaws and overlooked details, shaped by the experience of growing up SSD (Single-Sided Deafness) and navigating the world from a slightly different vantage point. That perspective naturally weaves itself into every piece, inviting viewers to slow down and look a little closer.

The work centers on textured mixed media paintings inspired by cloisonné techniques. In one approach, wires are individually placed onto canvas to form intricate designs, which are then carefully filled with resin. In another, designs are printed directly onto canvas using a 3D printer before being filled with resin. Both methods result in luminous, glass like surfaces that catch and reflect light while maintaining dimensional texture. Hidden flaws are intentionally embedded within each piece, quietly representing identity and lived experience.

In addition to original works, select designs are offered as prints based on digitally colorized sketches, as the reflective resin surfaces are too dimensional to reproduce directly. Suncatchers and hangers extend the designs into playful, functional art objects. These often feature quirky and unexpected imagery, including centipedes, Mothman, and two headed calves, and are loved as statement pieces or gallery wall fillers.

What makes the brand unmistakable is the deeply hands on process. Every original piece is designed, built, and assembled by the artist, making the physical act of creation inseparable from the final result. The work feels personal because it truly is, shaped by touch, intention, and lived perspective.

Creation happens at a well loved coffee table that has seen better days, now permanently marked by the creative process. There is no formal studio space, just a living room setup filled with tools, resin, wires, and one very supportive cat coworker. The setting may be simple, but it is filled with focus, experimentation, and a bit of joyful chaos.

Why Bloom?

”I was actually on Wickenden St with my friend one day and we happened to come into Shop Bloom on the second day you all were opened! I loved the vibe and Axel (store manager) was super nice and was telling us about the rotating vendors and I immediately knew I wanted to have a residency here at some point in time, so when I saw the spring residency was open I immediately applied and am so grateful to be coming in!”
