Inspired by the beautiful link between scent and emotion, Cristina created EMMOTIV as an invitation: "Explore the pleasure of using fine fragrance as an emotive tool for well-being." The brand offers a collection of clean perfumes thoughtfully blended to amplify a range of emotions, from love to calm – fusing the mood-elevating benefits of aromatherapy with the artistry of perfume.
Cristina begins the development of each scent with the intended emotion in mind, then builds around it, identifying ingredients, colorsandtextures that support the desired feeling. She then works closely with classically trained perfumers to bring each olfactive concept to life, using high-quality raw materials and a 20% fragrance oil concentration for depth and longevity. All formulas are clean, vegan, cruelty-free, EU compliant, and ingredient-transparent.
Cristina intentionally prioritizes investing in the fragrance oil itself, rather than costly, oversized packaging traditionally associated with perfume. This allowsEMMOTIVto offer a luxurious, indulgent olfactive experience that is within reach for everyday use.For an added touch of inspiration,each fragrance features an original haiku she wrote to celebrate the intention behind each emotion.
Cristina runs EMMOTIV from her home office in Arlington, MA, but her work takes her across the country, meeting customers at markets, visiting retail partners, and sharing her scents with new audiences. Her love of fragrance started at age ten, when her mother brought home a single bottle of perfume, a rare treat that made a lasting impression and sparked a lifelong passion.
