ScentSations by Chrys transforms small moments of self-care into something slower, softer, and more restorative. Through carefully blended scents, rich textures, and thoughtfully layered rituals, each product is designed to help people pause for a moment and reconnect with themselves in simple but meaningful ways.
Founder Chris DaRosa created the brand from a lifelong love of creativity, scent, and handmade care. The business is also deeply connected to the memory of her grandmother, Chrysoula, who always encouraged her to create with her hands and find joy in the process of making things. What first began as a personal outlet and way to unwind gradually evolved into a collection of products centered around relaxation, comfort, and everyday wellness.
Working in small batches, Chris creates bath salts, sugar scrubs, shower steamers, foot soaks, aromatherapy oils, and other body care essentials using high quality salts, essential oils, and carefully considered fragrance blends. Every detail is intentional, from the balance of textures to the way scents unfold and linger throughout the experience. The goal is never just to create a product that smells beautiful, but to create something that genuinely feels calming, grounding, and restorative to use.
At the heart of ScentSations by Chrys is the idea of building rituals rather than standalone products. Scrubs, oils, and soaks are thoughtfully designed to complement one another, allowing customers to layer products together into a full sensory experience. Chris places special emphasis on scent storytelling, creating blends that feel comforting, uplifting, nostalgic, or quietly energizing depending on the mood they’re meant to evoke.
Everything is created from a dedicated workspace inside her home, where the process remains deeply hands on from start to finish. From blending scents to filling jars and packaging products, Chris stays closely connected to every batch that leaves the studio.
