A curated collection of ethereal, dreamy, and textural vintage pieces that feel both timeless and quietly distinct.
Cherry-Coloured Junk takes its name from Cherry-Coloured Funk by Cocteau Twins, a song whose dreamy, atmospheric quality deeply informs the spirit of the brand. The goal has always been to capture that same feeling through clothing pieces that feel beautiful, unique, and a little otherworldly.
The collection is guided by instinct. If a piece sparks something immediate and hard to explain, it earns its place. Each item is chosen for the feeling it carries, creating a rack that feels personal, intuitive, and quietly expressive.
While the palette leans toward muted and neutral tones, texture and structure take center stage. Accordion pleats, subtle asymmetry, sun-faded fabrics, and unexpected details give each piece its own individual identity. Even the simplest garments are chosen for something slightly different, uniquely setting each piece apart.
The work happens in in-between spaces. A basement, a dim storage unit, or a corner of a bedroom becomes the setting for sourcing, mending, and curating. It is a raw and unpolished yet dedicated process, shaped by patience, repetition, and care.

Why Bloom?
“I grew up going to Providence with my family, who originally immigrated to Riverside from Portugal and Italy, and Wickenden Street has always had a special place in my heart, so when I was invited to the space and when I saw the address, I was immediately sold. I love being a part of a community, especially with those who I share a passion for old clothing!” - Victoria
