Lavascia Williams

Earthly Essentials began with a personal search for something better. After experiencing severe hair damage from products made for natural hair care, Lavascia Williams started looking more closely at the ingredients in the products she used every day. That curiosity quickly grew into a deeper understanding of how closely self care, wellness, and transparency are connected, and eventually into a brand built around that belief.

Working from her grandmother’s kitchen, Lavascia began experimenting with natural formulations from scratch, developing a deep conditioner that slowly helped restore her hair to health. What started as a solution for herself became a larger practice rooted in care, research, and the desire to share what she had learned with others. Over time, Earthly Essentials grew into a collection of shampoo bars, deep conditioners, beard and hair oil mists, goat milk soaps, and rich body butters made in small batches with hands on attention.

Every product is mixed, poured, molded, and packaged by hand, with each detail chosen to make everyday routines feel more intentional and nourishing. Subtle essential oil scents, thoughtful textures, and small design details like the raised nodules on her shampoo bars reflect the same philosophy that shaped the brand from the beginning. Though Earthly Essentials has grown into an award winning Rhode Island brand, it remains grounded in a quiet kitchen corner, surrounded by supplies, plants, and the steady care that first brought it to life.
