Nearly 20 years ago, The Breezeway Boutique began as While You Sleep I Crochet, a creative project born during Krys’s years as a stay at home mom. What started with handmade crochet pieces and late night creating grew alongside her family, eventually becoming Gold Medal Moms during her son’s 15 year gymnastics journey. Through custom apparel, accessories, and spirit wear, each chapter brought together creativity, community, and a love of making. Today, The Breezeway Boutique brings those experiences together through a thoughtful collection of handmade goods, home decor, gifts, accessories, and everyday favorites.
Each piece is made with a focus on function, quality, and a little bit of fun. Kitchen towels and coffee mugs are printed and pressed onto high quality, machine washable materials, while towel keepers and mug mitt sets are crocheted entirely by hand. The work happens wherever creativity finds its way in, from the laundry room and kitchen counter to the dining room table, with crochet projects often tagging along to movie theaters, waiting rooms, and anywhere else there is time to make.
