Ben McKosh

At first glance, Hill Hill bags are all about form and function- clean lines, quiet confidence, and a design language that quietly speaks volumes. Ben designs each piece with X-Pac sailcloth, a cutting-edge material sourced just over the state line in Connecticut. It’s lightweight, waterproof, and structured, perfect for gear that needs to move through the city as smoothly as you do.

From totes and slings to duffels and weekenders, everything is designed and sewn in small batches right in Providence, Rhode Island. Founder Ben McCosh takes a hands-on approach in Hill Hill’s all-in-one studio: part design lab, part photo setup, part airliner-style micro factory. It’s here that every idea is tested, every stitch is deliberate, and every product is designed to last.

Hill Hill’s signature? A striking, asymmetrical silhouette known as The Anvil. It’s instantly recognizable, just like the brand’s ultra-minimal aesthetic, which leans on refined shapes and thoughtful restraint over trends or excess.

The name Hill Hill comes from Ben’s years playing competitive billiards, where a tied match comes down to the final game, a moment called “hill-hill.” It’s high pressure, high precision, and where the best performance shows up. That same energy drives the work: put your full self on the line, stay sharp, and don’t cut corners.
