Lui & Lui is a jewelry brand built on connection, between generations, materials, places, and the people who carry them forward. Founded by Sol Sánchez, the work traces back to a family of makers, from a grandfather who was a goldsmith to an aunt who spent decades running jewelry stores. Even as a child, Sol was already making pieces at the family table, beginning a creative practice that would later grow into something deeply personal and fully her own.
After moving to New York during the pandemic and starting over in a new city, she returned to what had always felt natural, making jewelry by hand. That return became the foundation for Lui & Lui, a brand named in honor of her mother, Luisa. More than a namesake, the name carries the feeling of continuity, holding onto origin while making space for reinvention, growth, and change.
At the heart of the collection is glass, shaped through fire into jewelry that feels sculptural, colorful, and alive. Earrings, rings, and necklaces are handmade in small batches between Argentina and New York, with many pieces existing as one of a kind forms that can never be repeated exactly. Finished by hand in Brooklyn, the work transforms molten glass into wearable objects full of movement and personality, celebrating individuality, care, and the beauty of becoming.
