Serendipitous Landing began as a fan page before growing into a small shop inspired by music, lyrics, and the unexpected enchantment of a new season of life. The name comes from one of Rougye’s favorite songs, “Serendipity” by Jimin of BTS, and reflects the freedom and joy that came with discovering a new kind of creative inspiration through fangirling. What began as a place to celebrate those moments has since become a collection of stationery and apparel designed to hold onto them.
The work often starts with a feeling, a lyric, or a particular moment from an artist that Rougye wants to memorialize. From there, the idea finds its home, whether that means a notepad, sticker, piece of apparel, or another everyday object. Designs are created digitally, though many begin more slowly with pen and paper, allowing Rougye to explore different aesthetics and build layered concepts that can carry a richer story across multiple products.
That sense of layering is what makes Serendipitous Landing unmistakably Rougye. Her designs invite people to celebrate the artists they love while also finding messages of inspiration, excellence, and wellness within the work. Lately, she has been returning to a more analog beginning, sketching at cafés, on the patio, or at the dining room table before bringing an idea into the digital world. It’s a process that leaves room for reflection, curiosity, and the simple pleasure of letting an idea land where it wants to go.
