Artful bolos made with the spirit of the Wild West
Founded by EB, As Above So Bolow is a slow grown jewelry practice rooted in over a decade of making, a deep love of nature, and an enduring appreciation for the Wild West. The brand was created as a reminder to stay connected to where we come from, bringing together whimsical western style with the changing beauty of the natural world. Each piece carries that spirit through seasonal designs that feel playful, personal, and made with intention.
Each bolo begins with a moss base, carefully shaped and given its own very special little haircut before the design is assembled by hand. The finished slide is attached to genuine leather cord and finished with antique brass tips, creating a wearable piece that feels both rustic and unexpected. Inspired by the textures, colors, and character of the natural world, every bolo is made slowly and individually, allowing each one to develop its own personality.
Created in a sunlit office inside EB’s home in Wood River, the studio shifts with the seasons. Summers are muggy and glue scented, while fall and winter bring a cozy, wood cabin craft atmosphere, surrounded by natural textures and pieces in progress. Like a flower shop where the flowers never die, As Above So Bolow brings together nature, humor, and western nostalgia in a collection that feels unmistakably personal.
