Nostalgic Rhode Island-inspired stickers filled with local charm, humor, and childhood joy.
Founded by illustrator Bella, Ocean State Stickers began as a creative outlet and a love letter to Rhode Island. After earning a Fine Arts degree and pursuing a career outside the arts, she found herself drawn back to making, combining her lifelong affection for drawing with memories of the sticker vending machines she loved as a child. What started as a hobby creating Rhode Island themed stickers gradually grew into a brand celebrated for its local references, nostalgic humor, and unmistakable sense of place.
Every Ocean State Stickers design is hand drawn by Bella, transforming familiar landmarks, inside jokes, and everyday Rhode Island moments into collectible illustrations. While her artistic roots began with traditional materials like pencil, paint, and paper, digital illustration opened new possibilities for her work, allowing it to evolve into stickers, commissioned artwork, and experiences centered around her beloved vintage-style sticker vending machine. Affectionately named Cherry, the bright red machine brings an added layer of nostalgia, inviting people to rediscover the simple excitement of collecting stickers one surprise at a time.
Whether sketched late at night with an early 2000s romantic comedy playing in the background or imagined while traveling far from home, each design remains deeply connected to Rhode Island. Through humor, nostalgia, and careful observation, Ocean State Stickers celebrates the places, memories, and small cultural moments that make the Ocean State feel uniquely its own.

Why Bloom?
“I grew up going to Wickenden Street, and I even worked at my aunt's restaurant when it used to be at the top of the hill. I love the area and I love the community. I think Shop Bloom PVD is an amazing space. Where else can anyone get the chance to walk into ONE shop and have access to artwork and pieces so many local artists? I feel very blessed to have this opportunity.” - Bella
Fun Fact
Bella’s love for sticker vending machines comes from begging her mom for quarters after eating at Pizza Hut so she could get Y2K stickers and Britney Spears prints for her school binders.
