Born out of love (and necessity), Sage & Co. was inspired by Heather’s first rescue dog, Sage, a sweet and cautious pup with very specific needs. What started as a personal project to build safer, more functional gear quickly turned into a growing brand focused on custom, durable leashes and collars for dogs of all types, especially the ones who need a little extra care.
Everything is made by hand using BioThane, a leather alternative that’s soft, flexible, matte in finish, and most importantly, waterproof, stink-proof, and super easy to clean. It’s made in the USA and designed to withstand muddy hikes, rainy walks, and everyday mess, without sacrificing comfort or style. Heather hand-assembles each piece in her cozy den in Medford, MA, under the close (and critical) supervision of her two dogs, Sage and Fennel.
