Lesley Ellyn

Lesley Ellyn Studio is guided by curiosity and a desire to create work that engages both the senses and the imagination. The brand explores contrasts in material, color, and form, turning everyday objects and unconventional materials into cohesive, tactile designs that invite closer inspection. Each piece is thoughtfully constructed to balance industrial and organic elements, soft and coarse textures, and transparency and opacity.

The collection includes textile swatches and objects crafted from reclaimed and unexpected materials such as metal chains, rubber bands, dental floss, and cassette tape ribbon. Lesley carefully combines these materials to create tension and rhythm, producing work that is both visually striking and texturally rich. Each piece is archivally framed, backed with pages from large-format calendars, and designed to last while telling a story of material reuse and sustainability.

Lesley Ellyn Studio is recognizable for its consistent attention to repetition, pattern, and color, paired with an experimental approach to materials. The work balances playfulness and precision, offering moments of surprise and delight while remaining grounded in a cohesive aesthetic. Sustainability and thoughtful sourcing are core to the brand, giving each piece a unique narrative and depth that feels unmistakably personal.
